Cathy (Cole) Ratzburg ’86

I am self-employed in farming and ranching. My husband Bryan and I live on the family ranch in the Sweetgrass Hills north of Shelby, MT. We have three grown children Cole, Kamron and Rebecca, who are all involved with the family business and using degrees from Montana State University to further their careers. I attended high school at Billing Central in Billings, Montana, and completed my education at Montana State University in 1986 with a B.S. in business management and a minor in Spanish.

In addition to marketing and bookkeeping responsibilities for our business, Bobcat Angus, I also completed six years on the Sunburst School Board, five years on the Chi Omega Sorority Alumni Board and five years on the Montana State Alumni Engagement Advisory Board.

I currently serve on the Montana 4-H Foundation Board. Our families have four generations of Bobcat graduates in a 96-year span, including Bryan and my parents and our children and their spouses. We look forward to another generation of MSU graduates in the future.
